1966 Shelby GT350/GT350H / Battery post rubber piece

My car #6s689 has the rubber battery post protector attached with staples. I have noticed that some were attached with plastic pins. When was the change over? Did they start with the staples then switch to plastic pins, or the other way around?

Thank you for sharing that video.

Forgot to mention: #689 does have the fiberglass covers covering the pieces of rubber seal.

#689 Hertz dog legged traction bars with rubber pads over traction bars, no boots. When did they switch from rubber pads to boots on traction bars? I restored #731 years ago and it had boots on traction bars.

I have #689 with dog legged bars. Are the bolts supposed to be fine thread or course thread. Thank you.

Im glad they made a movie about shelby. Im glad they gave the recognition to ken miles. Yes there were
some mistakes with the movie. Get over it. I have been involved with shelby mustangs since 1981. I
really enjoyed the movie. I could have picked the movie apart also, but i sat there and enjoyed every
second of the movie. You should too.
