Gene Painter is/was the guy that recovered originals.
I cannot honestly say the repros grain is perfect, but they do look good.
I am not much of a concours guy though, surely someone will chime in.

I was fortunate that when I bought my car in 2002 it had been sitting for many years without springs, I sure that made a big difference over one that is already bowed.

No springs here either (original hood & fenders)
I use a short piece of chain between the spring mounting points on the hinges, holds the hood open great!
I'm sure there is a cleaner/nicer way to do it but NO SPRINGS!!

Check out: www.mustangmarket.net

I was happy with their door panels, as I think most people have been.

+1 on the True Trac. I have one in my 69 GT350 behind ~550 hp (418W stroker), it works great!

I have lockers in a couple of cars and prefer the TrueTrac

So is it the short or long 1330 yoke? I do understand that the inside of the yoke is machined deeper to accommodate the thicker Daytona pinion support, but what is the approximate OAL of the yoke? ~5"?

Thanks in advance, Mike

I remember going in that pole building at Currys,  all those rare cars in there and there was areas that cats and dogs could easily go in and out at the bottom

And everything unlocked with the keys in every car!!!

Wayne's 68 GT500 on left, CSX3201 center, and KK1660 (which I now own).  I believe KR tow vehicle is in background along with 6S663 (I think)

Wayne passed away 11/13/1999

Wayne Curry towing his 68 GT500 with his 4 speed KR sometime in the early 80's I think. Probably to drag strip. This is same car I think he towed CSX3201 to SAAC 3 in LA from Illinois!
(I wasn't around then someone please correct me if I'm wrong)

All original fiberglass, front end stuff, interior etc.
418W stroker w/ AFR CNC heads, big hydraulic roller, etc. TKO 600 5 speed, 3.89 w/ Detroit tru-trac, Total Control r & p steering, Global West suspension, 4 wheel disc brakes etc etc
Originally Silver Jade/4 speed. Original engine long gone. Added A/C, originally power vent car.

A true love it or hate it combo lol, to each his own, this thing is a true pleasure to drive & I DO drive the hell of of it!!! Carroll would be proud!!

To quote my mentor, the late Wayne Curry: Build it for yourself, don't worry about what anyone else thinks!!
