Again – thanks for all your answers. I'll have to think about whether I'm going to put it on my 260 or sell it and use the money for a modern intake. If I sell it, how much is reasonable to ask for it? Is it enough for a preformer and maybe a couple of headers?

Henry

Its not worth much. You could sell it to me cheap! ;) Shipping cost would be low too. I live in Norway.

I don't see mach1 in the decklid stripe. Unless it's so grainy, I can't see it.

Early cars did not have it.

Just for reference, here's a pic I have in my files of a '69 Boss 302, my note says Finland, I think it's a recent photo.

Mike

Yes, old style licence plate from Finland.

Interesting Norway photo john looks like all cars u see over there mudflaps or rock guards and added reflectors side and rear as that was part of required laws over there at the time the way I understand back in the day. I can see by looking at johns Shelby photo that spoiler design is 69 boss 302 as well as added boss rear spoiler.  The 69 boss 302 front spoiler was the service replacement for 69-70 Shelby and 69 boss 429 as (1 size fits all) replacements. I have never seen a 70 Shelby or a 69 b9 nos front spoiler in the box from a ford dealership. The only nos 69 b9 or 70 Shelby front spoilers that have been found were leftovers out of KK plant from what I seen anyway.

Mudflaps and orange rear reflectors was required by law. Had a realy heated argument with my local DMV about that. I simply refused to add some generic ugly orange lamps on my car. Guess who was the winner! ;-)

Ed

Spoiler was there at least from 1977.

John,
I am always amazed at who and what all you know!

You know me from the 428 cobra jet site

Stuart

It does help that I have had old American cars for 40 + years, and Mustangs for 30+ years!

It also helps that Norway is a small country.

Thanks

John
John my 70 GT350 vert originally was sold by DuBois in Belgium. Then went to France and I got it in 1985. I had email conversations with Claude many years ago and his memory failed him on what happened to the paperwork of the cars he sold over there. Do you know if any paperwork has surfaced on these cars? Have you seen any 70 Shelbys with a FIBERGLASS front spoiler. Mine had one that looked to have 90,000 kilometers of road rash on it when I bought the car in 1985 and only had holes in the valance for that spoiler. Nobody ever repoed a fiberglass front spoiler to my knowledge and I heard of possibly one other car brought back had one on it also that. Thanks for all your work over there on these cars. Gary

Gary

A friend has this frontspoiler from his Export Shelby. Was on it when he bought it many years ago. Most likely an early repro.

Do not remember any paperwork, but would ask around.

If I have seen a 70 Shelby with a fiberglass front spoiler, I would have thought it was a repro. Would ask a friend with a original export Shelby.

Pete,

surely someone in this article knows of the car......

http://www.mustangandfords.com/events/1908-mustangs-of-norway

If car #4 was in Norway, I would know about it.

Lots of familiar cars and people in the link. If you need/want information about ANY car in the link, let me know!

Ok,I was wrong here,I thought if it was engineering car it could be another type of engine in it,but there was a cleveland type in the car sometime in Norway.

John, jeg mener og huske at det var firmaet som er i slekt med en av guttaboys som stod for ovehalingen.
