No doubt scott fuller is the Cadillac of exhaust. ( sorry to use a GM reference) still hoping to see installed pictures of a 1966 GT350 w\Tri-Y exhaust all the way back.  Thanks, Fred

Thank you all. I've previously reviewed Scott fuller site. It displays an uninstalled system and has a few pictures of low resolution. It also does not display an H pipe. I'm hoping someone would post installed pictures of an original system or aftermarket.

Thanks Fred

Good morning. I've been looking for good pictures online of a correct factory replacement exhaust systems and not been successful. Not to buy but to see properly installed. Could be I'm not looking in the correct places? Also I used the search engine in this forum and not found photos.

I've always found the members of this SAAC forum be incredibly resourceful.

Be great if someone would post 3 pictures of an installed exhaust system from exit of tri-y headers to the rear where resonators exit w\turn downs at rear. It could be an original system or reproduction system which simulates the factory system. Or if someone has a great web site I could visit - Thanks Fred

Bob- That is solid advise and I will follow your suggestion. I will put a button top back on  the car as you suggested but not spend 1200 on a pump. I've seen Fred Ballard name over the years on many many online forums - not just Shelby & Other fords but Chevy\other manufacturers too. Easy to remember him since we both share the same first name. His work is incredible also expensive- which is ok because he might be the only one doing it.  I was just wondering if anyone else in the states did Crimped Fuel Pump restoration?   Hopefully will start disassembly my car this summer and have my car finished by Late Fall 2021. Right now I'm just sourcing OEM parts and having pieces restored and ready once reassembly starts.

Thank you again. Fred

I need a little help with the carter button top FP I pulled off my car 6S2227. I'm not sure how to date it or identity as the correct model for my car. I really find it hard to believe it is the original Fuel Pump - it had to be replaced over the years? Though prior to me purchasing the car in Feb 2019  -  its been sitting since about 1982 ish. Main body displays 0-1719, then under housing one side has (hard to read) 4567S & other side 12F9A (maybe?) I hope it is the real deal but really do not think it will be. I searched the archives in this forum and didn't see any old postings for button tops. I appreciate your time- Fred

Since Feb 2019 the proud 3rd owner of 6S 2227. Never thought I would find a real GT-350 and in my Favorite color - Sapphire Blue. I plan to start my own restoration work next spring.

Great information. I have an additional question.  I think 67 GT350 had VIN number stamped on housing what about 1966 GT-350's? Was the VIN stamped on trannys?  thank you

Could someone make a couple of suggestions of business (or individuals) which can rebuild the Koni's? Thank you, Fred

Just so I understand this correctly. The export brace, firewall brace, washer modified bird cage, over sized head bolts for koni's and adjustable Koni shocks were install at San Jose prior to SA? I loaded a couple pics of a shock and bird cage off my 2227 car. The koni shock dated 7\66. (if you can see it). My shocks were installed after SA conversion? yes? dealer or individual installed? Someone wrote previously on this thread Konis were a very popular upgrade. Is this the correct koni shock installed on GT-350's? thank you, Fred

J_Speegle - Thanks for the response. yes I'm familiar with the mustang T5 program and previously thought only the export brace was the only suspension upgrade for mustangs being exported. Thanks for sharing that bird cage fact nugget. So was the evenly spaced holes for the export brace part of the T5 program or was that a unique to GT-350's? Were all 65 - 66 GT-350's equipped with the evenly spaced brace? Incredible information found on this forum- Fred
