1966 Shelby GT350/GT350H / Oil Pressure Sending Unit
March 21, 2018, 07:21:54 PM
My oil pressure sending unit seems to have developed a small crack in the housing, causing a drop of oil to leak out of it, down the extension and onto the floor.

I'm not sure if it is an original sending unit, the only identification mark I can see is a small circled KS on the cone near the wire connector post.

Is this an original unit?
Does anyone know where to get a correct replacement?

Thanks, Denny

The ink stamp is long gone, if there ever was one, and I don't know if it's the original starter for the car or a replacement. So.........is there a FOMOCO stamping, or some identifying marks somewhere on the starter that I can look for, to determine if its an original one or not? Thanks, Denny

Hi Everyone,

My Son-in-Law's Brother, John, sent me the following information regarding lost Forum data:

I saw that the SAAC forum had some issues, and you guys apparently lost a ton of data.

I'm not sure if you are aware, but there are sites that archive the internet.

I found this, thought I'd share. Hopefully it includes some of that lost info:

https://web.archive.org/web/20170913094854/http://saacforum.com/

Hope this helps,
John

Just copy the link into your browser and you just might find a topic and posts previously thought unrecoverable.

THANKS John!

Denny

SAAC Forum Requests / Posts on the new site.
January 21, 2018, 08:33:25 PM
Are the new posts on the Forum reading from bottom to top? On the old site, the posts were displayed in the opposite order so you read the first post at the top of the discussion, and then read the responses in the order in which they came in. Is the new method bass ackwards or something? Thanks, Denny

SAAC Forum Requests / SPAMMERS

It suddenly appears that there's many new folks posting here that have no interest in SAAC, I hope someone is watching them and removing their ability to post here. Thanks, Denny
