Appears to be a CSX33xx series.

It doesn't appear the ad ones match the ones SA used/sold. The period SA photos clearly show the spline adapters used visible lug nuts to hold them to the wheel.
Only some of them had the lug nuts. Usually used on the rear of the factory drag cars. Customer drag cars nomally did not get the lug nut version. The lug nuts were added to help with the torque of the drag cars. The yellow car is CSX2427 (Customer car) https://bringatrailer.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/IMG-1590-17162-scaled.jpg?fit=2048%2C1536 The blue car is CSX2357, A factory drag car. https://allcarcentral.com/Shelby/Shelby_Cobra_Dragonsnake_289_sn-CSX2357_1964_Cobra_Experience_Museum_MWP0851.jpg

Up For Auction / Re: 6S406 - Bring A Trailer

The digits on that engine photo can be 'combined' to achive many different six digit VIN. Which combination is correct? And if the problem was just a prefix number, why would the stamper try to correct several numbers? Why not just "correct" the 8?

The Lounge / Re: Who owns the car in case of catstrophic loss?

who gets 1st shot at car

i would imagine the insurance company 1st
but what if there is a lien on the vehicle?

Does bank have 1st right of refusal before the owner?

Due to the increasing values of the cars it could make for a bigger  profit  for the bank if they bought it and flipped it .

just a thought  :)
Hagerty calls it "Cherished Salvage Coverage"

we have 40 lightning trucks  being delivered /  and at least 10 mach e  have gone thru  the dealer  this month .

they may not work for everyone but  have not seen any traded back in .

the mach e is reasonable performer  / 300 miles per charge will get most people back and forth to work for a week around here. if you can charge it for free at work it makes sense .

are you going  to take it on vacation for a 12  hr drive  no.

Has your dealership sold a good number of Powerboost F150's?

Did they come with inboard or outboard disc brakes?
The only original Cobra with inboard brakes was the prototype CSX2000. All the rest had outboard.

Wanted to Buy / Re: Wanted Original Cobra Emblems
« on: April 04, 2023, 10:24:09 AM »
Wanted to buy one or two original S1CS-19523-C Cobra emblems. Not interested in reproductions. These were used on 289 Cobras beginning at about CSX2133 and continued until the end of 289 Cobra production. They must be complete and in excellent to NOS condition.

I would also have interest in a couple of C3RA-14225-A emblems. These were used on 427 Cobras. Again they should be complete and in excellent to NOS condition. No reproductions, please.

CSX 2000 Series / Re: Looking for a slabside wire wheel shelby
« on: January 27, 2023, 10:29:33 AM »
Generally, "slabside" refers to a replica rather than a genuine Cobra.

That's news to me.  I call all Flat Flare  CSX 2000 Cobra's Slab Sides.

That is a 1990s term used on replicas because the manufacturers didn't know what to call the street 289's to differentiate them from the wide hip "FIA" models they were building.

The term did not exist in the 60's and is considered derogatory by many original Cobra owners.

Besides the fact that there is not a flat panel on an original Cobra, let alone a slab of bacon ;)

The correct term you are looking for is a street 289 Cobra.
