Do we know where the convention will be in 2020?

When the base Mustang went to Shelby, Shelby reassigned a NEW VIN - CORRECT?  Will the NEW vin have any of the same numbers as the Ford original? I am asking in order to relate the build sheet to the SHELBY vin plate. IF the build sheet has the original FORD VIN info, how do you verify the specific car teat now has a SHELBY VIN number that does/may not match?

When Shelby renumbered the dash plate, what did they do about getting the PROPER rivets?  Does anyone reproduce those rivets now? I want to remove my dash VIN for having the striped down body media blasted and then need the proper rivets to put it back together.

I need a Driver side stainless windshield A pillar molding for a 69 sportroof

My car came with A/C and a tilt-away column. Does the car have two separate vacuum canisters, or one that feeds both units?  Where is/are the canister(s) mounted on the body?

My car came with the AM/8 Track radio.  What did the face look like/say on it (nothing, mustang, shelby)?  Does anyone have a photo that they could post

I have the Marti report on my 69 GT500 which states the car was built on June 13.  Was this the date that the car was built and delivered to A.O. Smith, OR was this the date the car was a completed unit and delivered to Shelby, or the date that the car was COMPLETED at Shelby?  Is there a way to know when the car was completed from Shelby?  I am asking to determine the if Shelby components (i.e. Carburetor, shocks, etc.) may have a later component build date than that shown on the Marti. 

I have a 69 AM radio with 8 track that needs restoring.  Who would you recommend to help me out?

How do you go about achieving the correct appearance for the drive shaft?  If painting, what color do you use?  69 GT500

On a 69 GT500, what finish does the front sway bar have? Same question for the endlinks and components, bushing mounts and mount bolts.

Being new here, I am not sure as to all the protocols. But I would like to ask if there is a list, or way to see what other member live in my area of Northern Georgia. I am looking to find 69 GT500 owners that I can meet with and discuss issues over the car to help me while I put my car together. I am familiar with the fact that there is a registry, but do not know how to view it, or if it has the members by state, or even if there is contact information.  I would appreciate any insight on this since I am hoping to have a finished car as nice as most of your.

Is there anything different on a Shelby C6 vs. a stock Ford C6?  Are they aluminum body with cast iron tail shaft?

My car came nearly completely disassembled, hence I am missing most of the hardware. East Coast Bolts sells a Shelby hardware kit and I would like opinions as to how accurate (or not) they are.  I need the hardware for nearly the entire car so your input is important.

I understand (unfortunately) that no one restores these. My set has very nice chrome, but the aluminum spokes need some light attention.  Is there anything that could be done to improve the appearance of them? Mask the chrome and a light media blast??? Does any one have a picture of what they should look like?

What is the correct shifter handle for a 6/13 build A/T car?  Is it wood or   Anyone reproducing this?

What is the best/proper way to restore them? OR who do you recommend restore them?

As I am getting my components together, I have realized that I will need some specialty help from some outside vendors. I did discover the build sheet (or remnants there of) and was wondering if anyone does restoration and decoding of these?

I am looking to see if there are any Northern Georgia owners close by that I could communicate with about the proper (or near proper) restorations of my GT500.

On your 69 500's, what are most of you doing with the smog pump? Are you restoring everything and making it fully functional, or deleting this item from the engine. And if restoring it, who do you recommend to restore it?
