Looking for a NOS distributor cap with the FoMoCo in script in the oval on the inside of the cap. Part number is B7A-12106-A.

Was the 66 Shelby Pittman arm the same arm as used on power steering cars? Who was the supplier to San Jose in March 66? Thank you.

What is the color of the tie rod adjusting sleeves new from the assembly line from San Jose in March of 66? I have nos ones. One is painted black and one is unpainted, natural steel.

Were Shelbys in the March 66 time frame shipped to SAI without hoods? If so, were the hood hinges installed? If the hood hinges were installed, were they installed with or without springs?

I am trying to find out when and if Shelby applied the Hertz brake warning decal at the factory. I am  also looking for information on where to attach the Hertz brake warning decal for cars built and shipped in March 1966. I have seen them mounted on the dash pad above the radio and on the dash metal below the radio. Hertz 1621 for sale at Mecum this Friday has one on the dash pad. I have no idea if this is original to that car.

Wondering if members will post pictures of original heater hoses with the white stripe? I have looked at the reproductions from Kevin Marti and others and they do a poor job of matching originals I have seen. I no longer have original ones to look at right now

The Kevin Marti reproductions have a faint white ink stripe consisting of three lines. The color looks like a blue white. These don't match what I remember of original ones.

Any suggestions on making a set or a source for NOS would be appreciated.

AMK uses out hex bolts in its master engine kit for the 1966 Shelby for the Cobra oil pan. I noticed "witness" marks on my T-pan indicating star washers were previously used. I have only seen those washers used with Phillips head machine screws.

So what are the correct fasteners that Shelby used in mid-March 'for the T-Pan?

Looking for information on the mounting location from a March 66 built Shelby Hertz with Autolite carb. Most pictures I have seen show the coil mounted on the on the passenger side. It looks like there is more room to install in on the driver's side and then it would not have such tight clearance with the bypass water hose. Thoughts?

Looking for information on the generally correct color for the alternator fan and the large pulley on a March 66 Shelby. My fan on the alternator is black. And, while I have never seen a corporate blue painted pulley, mine was blue.

Also, looking for a picture of the vacuum line and fitting on the rear of the S2MS Shelby intake on a Hertz automatic car.

I am looking for input on:

The brand and color of the oil filter at the time the March built '66s shipped from Shelby.

Did workers at Shelby change the oil filter when installing the aluminum pan?

Was the oil filter painted blue at the same time the engine was painted?

When the oil pan was replaced at Shelby, did they often replace the pan gasket? I can't imagine pulling the pan and not damaging the gasket. Thus, I believe the cork gasket should not be painted blue on its edge if it was replaced. Is that correct?

Were there axle paint codes for the driver's side and passenger side axles that were installed at San Jose? If so, what colors?

What color was the silicone or RTV as used by Ford and/or Shelby in March 66 on the engines and in particular as used by Shelby when installing the intake manifold?

Looking for a measurement of the location for the GT-350 emblem on the taillight panel. I am  looking for the exact placement in both directions to center it and to get the correct distance from the right edge of the emblem to the taillight bezel. A picture would be great. Thank you.

This is a service replacement left inner wheelhouse that fits 65 to 70 Mustangs. The basic part number is C5ZZ-652787-A. This has a stamped date code of 11 4 D3. $150 plus shipping.

Looking for a bracket like the longer unpainted one shown in the picture. The one I need is about 5.5" long. This is for under the passenger side rear floor fold down on 65/66 fastbacks like the one shown as painted red which is too short for my car. It is welded to the trap door frame support. Thanks!

Were the rear brake shoes on March 66 Hertz cars semi metallic or organic?

Did Hertz cars in March of 66 get one lighter duty hood spring and one standard hood spring?
