everything is getting heavier! 

the answer is yes. Took about 2 hours. did it on my back.....

stock exhaust set up.

short lift only about 2ft and yes i have a tranny jack.

Kinda looks like I can leave the exhaust alone and slide back then forward.. anyone confirm? Thanks

might not be enough. I can just barely feel the scratches with my nail. Thinking i need to sand then polish?

Anyone have a tried and true sanding/polishing process or a kit you bought that you liked? Nothing deep but needs repair. Lots of the web content but no good DIY solutions such as pad types etc. Thanks!!

thanks.. What about securing the glass in the lower frame? Same stuff?

For my 68 door,.. is the brightwork around the edges stainless? What is best way to remove the old and then "glue" a replacement glass into the base?  Heat? Thanks

thanks.... i haven't considered that option. It almost feels counter intuitive. I'm still looking for nice originals. No luck yet.

thank you no. These are the little ones that Ford uses for the trim, emblems etc that allow you to push the piece in place no nut.
