Not for Shelby, but we all get "off track" at times..... this is an original set of the adapters that came in the trunk in 69. Original bag is faded but after 50 years, looks good. $175 +shipping.

Here is a picture of the original type screws from Ford Hi Perf 289 ,C5OF-E distributor. The two on left hold plate to body. (Note split washers)The four in center hold points to plate.( called binding head,no washers) The screws on right show the two most common screw used to attach condenser. ( small diameter head to clear cam. Either internal tooth or external tooth lock) one attaches condenser.
Just trying to give accurate info to help preserve originality.

Note: my picture rotated during upload.Left is bottom now  :)

Just to explain why I listed it as J code ,302 4V . My Ford spec book lists as Mustang/Cougar w/302 2V-4V. This book does not list any Shelby specs by themselves. I realize there are many different books by many sources and info may differ. So,that being said,I believe this tag is correct for Mustang and Cougar with 302 2V-4V. If not correct for your GT 350 ,please use whatever source of info you trust.
Thanks

1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Re: 67 Key Identifiers
October 30, 2021, 05:29:22 PM
New Ford cars and new Ford service locks came with those tags. FA preceeding four numbers would be for ignition key,FB preceeding four numbers would be for trunk/glove box, etc. Dealers could use a book to change the four digit code to a five digit code to cut the key. Most tags had the " record and detach" message to remind owners to make note of the numbers. Some lock cylinders have same FA/FB ———— numbers stamped in cylinder body.

I have had good luck by connecting battery and ground (while on bench) and TAPPING with plastic mallet. Not much to lose by trying........worked for me.
