I sold that horn button with the "289" marked in it several years ago - to someone in North Carolina, I believe. Also sold a '67 wheel separately - possibly the same wheel - it had been redone in wood with the incorrect grain and direction:

1970 Mach 1, Torino, Mercury Cyclone, etc. with Dunlop tires, all with good tread, 225 70R 14, some trim rings have scuffs, all tires hold air well. Local pickup in Huntsville, AL north Alabama area.
One tire has some sidewall scuffing from fender rubs.

$900.

Pick up preferred, but can arrange shipping/packing at buyer's cost.

The Lounge / Re: Photo Posting Poll

Chris, not exactly true - just went to the CJ forum, was able to add a photo directly to a post - no gallery upload needed, no black box, no size limit, works like a charm. Not sure why this forum with many more member and activity can not work the same.

I believe those numbers come from cars that are "accounted for" in the HiPo Registry and not total production.  I don't know that the true production number is really known for '66.

Craig R.

You're correct. If it was total production, then the number of '67s listed would match the known total, which is does not.

In the cars for sale section, this is information provided on the '66 K code convertible for sale. With no Marti Reports, where would this info come from? Seems very low to me...

Why can't this be fixed? Nearly daily someone on here gets the "uploader full" message, meaning useful, meaningful pics are not getting shared. The Boss 302 forum dose not have this problem.

104 pics, and NONE of the engine compartment - probably didn't want to show the VIN tag as I would bet ot has had a color change.
