What Bob says makes perfect sense as Y2 was for a 4-speed V-8 like the G2. I believe F2 on your radiator means it was for
an automatic car. Does it have any connection to the auto oil lines at the bottom.
Texas Swede

Yes it does have the auto trans lines in the bottom tank.

Found this in my stash this weekend. Is this applicable to a '65?

Re: the Downey Ford '68 Shelby without hubcaps - look closely and you can see the rear of a '69 Sportsroof- that Shelby must have sat on the lot for a while!

My dad's old 1952 Ford that he and 3 other guys rolled in a corn field near Hulaco, Alabama. All survived!

I had Barrett Jackson collectors insurance for the last 10+ years. Was informed late last year that they were no longer insuring cars in Alabama. Went with Parrish, which was about 30% cheaper than Hagerty.

Wow, in that last pic, the Cobra under construction at the bottom with the two batteries in the back - That gauge to the far right of the dash would be kind of hard to read while driving, wouldn't it?

From what I see the section of the wheel in question looks different than the one I show here. The section circled looks much deeper and maybe flatter than the one in the for sale ad.

Ad states original "restored" steel wheel. Implies original Shelby wheel, but shape looks different than other original painted Magnums I have seen

Thanks for the link. I still will never understand some prices on Boss 302s. More than a 67 GT500?

I think the Boss only had 5500 miles on it - may be why it went for so much.
