If anyone is interested in this car I would be able to do an inspection on it. I live about 75 mile from Mt. Vernon, OH.

It don't think it was a mistake... marketing people most likely felt that by showing the Mustang and Crown Vic (iconic cars to some) will translate into believing the Cadillac is iconic as well. This is just my opinion and years of dealing with marketing types.

The cuss words are the most important tool. +1. One of my go to tools. It's good therapy.
Quote from: Bob Gaines on February 02, 2019, 01:44:39 PM+1. The correct tapered spoke, non counter bored between the spokes valve stem hole, non spot faced tapered lug nut seat wheel without the S7MS casting is what I believe is the D suffix wheel that some of them may clear the 68 K/H calipers and some may not. It is not necessarily how this wheel is machined but there is extra thickness of material cast in the back side of the hub area that ends up making them a different offset.Quote from: Fast Fords on February 02, 2019, 06:32:42 AMSome will and some will not I have found that is why I said would "help". Typically the ones with machining on the backside of the rim will have a good chance to clear without additional spacers.
Bob, are you saying the wheels with no # on the back will fit a '68 Shelby because of the machining that was done to them ?
Thanks....Greg.

A different 1968 Shelby also unrestored....either Jan or Feb build date. Might have been to cover bare areas? Looks to be sprayed over redox and not done by owner
