Anyway it looks better than those rediculous looking white jackets a couple people were talking about a few years ago.....

You mean these?  Like hanging out in your bathrobe.  Must be comfortable.

You are right Brian.  This was a mass produced item readily available and seen in the Shelby parts catalog (Michigan version shown).  Terlingua11 is also right, for that price, it should have a sticker.

Policies

We sell antiques, collectible, and vintage items. Items may contain minor dusting, soiling, usage marks, and blemishes caused by natural aging and use. To preserve the integrity of an item we decided not to clean or restore them. We leave the cleaning decision up to you. All items are being sold as collectibles. Every so often we do list some new items which we clearly state in the description.

Condition Chart:

We do try our best to match the product to the condition below.

MINT: Brand new and never used. No visible flaws in appearance. First quality. Most antique and vintage items will not fall in this category. However, there are some old back stock still in the market and highly sought after.

EXCELLENT: Upon close inspection some very minor signs of use or wear, but no serious flaws. Highly prized antique and vintage items. Condition usually can't be upgraded or any better.

VERY GOOD: Obviously used but kept in great condition and well cared for. Displays normal signs of use and wear but no abuse.

GOOD: Clearly used enough to cause noticeable signs of wear. Overall still in collectible condition. Offers satisfaction of owning a long sought after piece. The collectible condition is still tolerated by most collectors.

FAIR: Used extensively, many cosmetic flaws and signs of wear. Still holds collectible desire based on availability, uniqueness and character. Usually purchased by collectors if an item is rare and not ready available on the open market or as a restoration project. Makes for a nice filler piece.

POOR: Used extensively with abundant and major cosmetic flaws. Sold "AS IS" for decorative use only. Makes for a nice filler collectible until a better one can be obtained. Displays lots of use and age character. For the collector who likes to restore or just desires the primitive rustic look of an abused aged item.

The condition listed is a personal opinion. We try to give a fair opinion based on our experience.

The pictures are taken from actual items. Please kindly take a look carefully before buying. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

Import duties, taxes and charges are not include in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

I saw this today at CVS and couldn't resist.  A few interesting articles, and then a saw this ad from Shelby American.    I don't mean to stir up trouble, but can someone please explain this to me?

"Built by Legendary GT, after Carroll Shelby personally granted them a license, each is a piece of legendary American automotive history.  Every car is handcrafted and fitted with your choice, either a 428pi or a motor from the Shelby Engine Company, then placed in the official Shelby Registry.  It's just like owning an original GT 350 or GT500-like new once again!

What registry are they referring to?  It sure seems like they are hoping that stupid people will expect their 'new' GT350/GT500 to be in the SAAC Registry.

If I remember correctly, it won an award in the '67 GT350 class popular vote on Saturday at SAAC 42.  1st place maybe?  Anyone recall?  I do remember my friend John Callis won 3rd place.

He took a lot of liberties when he restored this car.   Much of it was Ford aftermarket I assume since he worked at a dealership.  Funny how a car can win best of class at a concourse judging and yet be factory incorrect in so many ways.

When I spoke with a fairly well known restorer recently, he told me he asks customers whether they want their car restored for SAAC Councourse (factory correct), or concourse d elegance(over restored).  I guess there is room for both.

Just watched the latest episode of 'Restoration Garage' on Velocity.  It's called 'Hat Trick'.  It details the shop bringing their '46 Alfa to the 2017 Cobble Beach Concours d'Elegance.  What caught my eye was the nightmist '67 GT350 that won it's best of class award.  It's only on screen for a second or so, but I was sure I recognized it.  I was parked next to it at SAAC 42.

Congrats to Hunt Palmer and his wife.  Really nice folks with a really nice car.  Great to see some love given to a '67 at a Concourse d' Elegance.  ;D

"The nicely detailed engine compartment maintains the original factory look, down to the overspray on the firewall and messy black caulking where the inner and outer front fender seams come together."

Are you implying that it isn't concourse correct?

Did that have something to do with his '427'?

This 'petite' model seems to have cracked a cobra.   :o
