This is a request for info from any early '67 owners.  I'm trying to understand engine casting dates relative to head casting dates on early 1967 GT350's.  I've spoken with a few owners so far and found some interesting results.  You can contact me privately, you don't need to post any dates on here if you don't wish to.

Thanks in advance.

You've got to check out the latest edition of Barn Find Hunter from SAAC member and all around great guy Tom Cotter:

That looks pretty interesting. Brian if that was something you are definitely interested in I would be willing to check it out for you. I certainly know nothing about Mexican Shelbys or even about that year of Mustang but I can check out overall condition and drivability. Let me know.

Thanks Corey, but I just put it up for the folks on here.  I have enough projects since buying the Yugo prototype from the 1977 NY Auto Show.  I'll bet you didn't know Chuck Cantwell was asked to road test that baby!  A full 11 horsepower!

More again as EASY to post pictures now!  I think in this picture too much goop was used!

Steve

Ok, in my defense, that was my first attempt.   :o  It is the right stuff to use, and I did redo it to be more correct.

I think I've got it covered.  Thanks for all the responses everyone.

If there is anyone near the Detroit area who can checkout a Shelby for me?  It's a pretty unique situation I guarantee you will find very interesting.  I don't need a full pre purchase inspection, just someone to take some pictures for the love of Shelby's.

Thanks,

Brian
