Guy had four wing cars. Two were moved off site. The other two were six feet in the air. Hard to imagine they would be washed off the lifts

Havenít heard it in years but did hear it probably ten times as a lad

Years ago there was a guy in Hemmings, Alex Takasian (sp?) he would advertise all these parts from cars he was obviously taking apart to sell in bits

I bought a trunk lid and a front fender. We are talking easily 30 years ago so you can imagine how pissed I was to remember his name to this day

The items arrived in deplorable/unusuable condition. Packing couldn't be less secure. I can't imagine for the life of me how they could be so damaged. I reported it (was so obvious anyway) to the driver and a refund was give. TO ALEX

I finally found out his father worked at a law firm and called there. I got my refund.

I feel for you. I was more angry that original decades old rust free parts were destroyed by sheer laziness. I hope you get sorted

I have always wondered what happens with a salvage title car when it is brought to a no title state.  Many states don't issue titles to older cars NY being one.  It gets a transferable registration.  Does the brand follow?

Ah. Thatís why so many cars have GA titles. Clean title state. Wipes the Brands

It is quite amazing how we are all being led down this garden path

The problems I have with even basic business interactions these days (read: banks) does not bode well for the future when there will be even fewer people to speak with (after an hour on hold) who can sort out the issues caused by their systems

Endemic in the darn things. I have 3 sets of brand new 65/66 deluxe panels in stock, two still in the plastic and in the box that are warped. One other set new but shop worn...same thing. I tried putting them on a rack with weight opposing the bend in the heat. It came out but came right back. Maybe thats why the vast majority of them on cars (non shelbys that I deal with) have a few screws holding them on. A friend just installed brand new panels on a build. He used screws. Another friend with an E car, Screws in his door panels. How the suppliers can't sort this issue out is beyond me.
