There is a bracket that bolts to a stud on the rear of the radio chassis.  The bottom of the bracket is a "spring clip" that slides onto the radio support.  Once you remove the front trim panel, and the front radio bracket, you can reach behind the radio and undo the bolt, but it's a pain to get to. You should also be able to gently move the radio side to side while pulling towards you and slide the clip off the support.  The radio is still plugged in to the harness, so don't pull too hard.  Once the clip slides off the support, you can easily unplug it.  Here is a url to a pic of the rear bracket:

Well, either the battery temp. got to the point that power was restricted to prevent damage, or, they were taking it easy as the most important part was it "passed the test".......

A Mustang Mach E AWD posted the best acceleration times and shortest stopping distance of all vehicles tested at the most recent Michigan State Police vehicle testing at the Chelsea Proving Grounds.  It also had the slowest lap times of all vehicles tested at Grattan Raceway.

One minor criticism is I think they take some liberty with the time span.  If "dad" was a Ford racing engineer, it would have been well after the races/drivers shown.  Just like the Chevrolet Nomad commercial this past Christmas, if the woman in the commercial had a 1955 Nomad when new, I have a hard time seeing her look the way she does in a new Blazer EV.  :)

My thought as well.  I remember taking the monorail from the Fairlane Town Center (?) to the Hyatt and visiting the RenCen when Ford/Detroit still owned it.  I had never seen a parking lot that big!  ;D

I certainly agree with Mr. Mullaly that a "special process" was used to manufacture the Shelby GTs, etc. that were completed by Shelby American, and a lot of logistical hurdles had to be overcome.

But the process itself is pretty similar to how police vehicles, ambulances, work trucks, etc. are built.  The OEM builds the basic vehicle or chassis cab, the vehicle is shipped to a secondary manufacturer or upfitter for completion, and then shipped to the ordering dealer.  I'm not sure about the larger secondary manufacturers (Knapheide, Supreme, Reading, etc.), but I'm pretty sure the upfitters (Kerr, Crown, GFX) are not union.
