The Cobra-Aut. ones do come predrilled with clips.

My R panels came painted in semi-gloss from C. Automotive.

Just got my set from them two days ago - they are unpainted.

The panels from Cobraautomotive are unpainted - what was the original finish ?
Black semigloss or matte? Or unpainted bare aluminum?

Sorry for bringing this up again - no more ideas / hints ?
Unfortunately I cannot decipher from R Model photos how they did it.

The Avons are really good.
In Europe in historic racing in most series you mandatory have to use Dunlop, but sometimes, especially if it´s wet, teams use Avons even if they would lose their result for that.
We over here also have a small tire company from England called Blockley, they also make very good streetable racing tires, unfortunately they don´t have size for Mustang or Cobra (yet).

Thank you - glad you like it !!
Yes, owning a real one unfortunately isn´t easy anymore.....
I also would like to add a FIA Cobra to the stable, but original ones are out of reach and new built ones we can no longer register in Germany. At least not legally and as historic car, which I would need to use it in historic events.

Thank you Greg !! I already feel very welcome !!

Was just about to post another photo from the interior - this is how I got the car in June. For my eyes, at least, a progress ! :D
I didn´t like the gauges and switches at all and the fire system has been expired in 2003...

And a link to a quick video we did a few days ago - I am hoping the weather will continue to be fine for some time.

The speedo on the phone does read KM - I am not speeding !! :P 8)

Your German is very good !
We are about 500 km away from Nürburgring, but I have bern there quite often, but not yet with the Mustang (only with pre war racers, would you imagine!).
Germans mostly like the car, for some it is a bit too unsilenced....😛
Hope you can enjoy the Party - and Corona doesn't interfere too much .
Nice meeting you here !
