I'm current owner of his 69 GT350. I found some of his old pictures with his old car.

I got my car inspected by an expert! I was there with him and see what was wrong with the car. That's the only way to do it

Thx

It's a great story. Hope you find it soon.  I purchased a 68 Shelby. I reunited it to first owner's brother last summer.

Thank you for all you guys inputs and Jeff showed me the pictures.  This morning went out with wife and tried to check the wire leads out from S terminal on selenoid. But didn't have to check it. Put key into the ignition and started! Lol. Doesn't know why?

Hi Jeff
I got one click at the selenoid.  I couldn't find the safety switch underneath. I took of the shifter plate and I got exactly what I'm the picture. Is that where the safety switch on the left side of the shifter arm??

Thx

I think it is neutral safety switch!

Where is it on 69 auto? Looked over the linkage but didn't see it.

Battery ok
Solenoid ok
Cables are ok

Now I will test the start switch to solenoid. If there is current there.

Is it corrected? Wife tried to start the starter switch and I tested the "S" on the selenium!
Please advise.
