Could SPEC be an abbreviation for Special?

I get a kick out of Carroll climbing out of the car through window opening, gives the car the race look style perhaps.

I was told that they were installed on the assembly line if the worker felt was needed for a finished fit.

I just called them and sent an email and had a call back with in twenty minutes. Very nice fellow to talk with and I will be sending my 67' AM radio this winter for a conversion. As it stands my AM has never worked, so it's not a bad investment at this point. He sounds top notch to me. There are a few levels to choose from starting at 435.00 up to 635.00 I think. The plug in ports are in the rear too, so it should still retain stock appearance out front.

So it is possible that cars completed up to and including Oct31/66, the stamps were not available yet? As of Nov 01/66 and on , it appears that the stamps were available.

The shot of the Green car at the Hotel entrance has the more forward fender emblem position, like the B&W photos Brian has indicating the possibility of 0003. The Green car driven by lady is a different car I believe. Fender Emblem is in the more standard position.

Great article Nick, true Ford guy.

I bought my group 24 battery from Antique Auto Battery in 2005 and it still works flawlessly in my 67 GT 350. Never had an issue with it.

Wanted to Buy / Re: WANTED ORIGINAL 69 2IN MUFFLER

I have a NOS 69 transverse on my 67 GT350. It was bought with all of the parts to restore the car around 1976-77. I would have to go out and look at the date on it again , it's still on my car, looks new still, my complete exhaust system for the 67 is also NOS from the same time period. Parts were installed  when the car was restored  in 1996, and has  travelled around 2200  miles since, no rain.

0012 is another, 0003, what about 0019?

Did the finish of their pieces change since around 2008? I ordered a set of brushed inserts back then and had to return them as they were so far off of originals. They were quite glossy, a darker shade and didn't have that sharp look of silver to them. Has anyone ever come across this? He was very good about returning though.
