If the scratch is indeed a fine scratch a product like this and several Micro fiber pads should remove it. The key is to work the polish in several directions, across the scratch and then along the scratch to work the edge of the scratch down.

My question is has anyone applied clear bra over their 69-70 side decals on their Boss 302. It's been implied that one can without any issues, while others comment it can leave a raised bubble where the two materials cross over right along the two edges due to the thickness. Anyone have an experiences either way with clear bra over decals. Thank you for any input.

The best deterrent I ever heard was a plain trailer clearly marked with placards with Live Venomous Snakes.... which to the uninitated isn't too far from the truth.

Without knowing your budget, there are several options on the site Racingjunk. Here's one with spares, etc:

Look into car door cup protectors, there are multiple sources out there via internet.
Here is one of those resources:     https://lamin-x.com/door-cup-handle-guards/

The Avon's would be a better choice for street and occasional track day. The Hoosier TD-R's are not DOT certified, but a dedicated track tire and are a little pricey at $830/ea. depending on sizing.

A viable alternative to Finishline is Acton Custom Enterprises, just a suggestion if you are having difficulty with Finishline coming through.

The burned areas of Boulder are actually Southeast of the museum so I'm hopeful they were unaffected.

My advice is find a "cheap" Mazda HPD car with all the current safety equip./etc. Look into SCCA's track night in America program, they offer a variety of competitive events for beginners too advanced. Chin Motorsports is another program offering various driver development programs at various tracks with a decent reputation. Go slow, listen to advice and be patient while gaining experience.

OK I was not sure if new springs needed time to settle or not. Here is another angle that shows it where I think it looks higher. I also thought if I change the tire size to a slightly lower profile that might be the ticket.
So, I can somewhere find and order springs that just might lower it with no other mods?
OR
I can relocate the upper control arms and get my inch lower? (with the addition of bump and steer)

I don't have any pictures already that would show what you want to see. The car is currently up on jack stands and probably will be until the snow is gone in the spring?

I would call Cobra Automotive and explain to Scotty or Curt your issue. See what they suggest. I can't think of anyone who has been through this more within recent years and I know they have worked with spring suppliers for their own needs. That could benefit you.

FYI Scotty Hackenson is no longer with Cobra Automotive.

The tire size is 225 60 15

Thanks, do you know of any clearance issues based on that size, especially the front on a GT350?

Thank you for the positive responses guys.
We did a set for a 1967 GT350 owner...This shows the progression of the process.....

CSX2259, Are those 215/70-15's or 215/60-15's ?
