Werthie is usually spot on on his film reviews. I'll wait for a theater where I can get my senior discount cause I'm cheap.

It's amazing Craig Breedlove is still alive. Art Arfonds crashed at over 500MPH. The Infinity jet car crashed in 1960 killing Glenn Leasher. A very dangerous side of motorsports.

Kalifornia has just refused to renew the registrations on diesel powered medium duty, F450, Chevy 4500 pickups and heavy duty trucks built before 1992. The truck either has to be retrofit with emissions equipment that won't even fit on it, in some cases, or removed from the state.

Call me crazy, a lot of people do, but the day will come in California when you will no longer be able to go to the store and buy automotive lubricants, oil, grease, cleaning products. In order to get your oil changed you will have to take your car to a state run garage where it will be done to insure proper disposal of the waste oil. I wouldn't put it past the lunatics here to deem motor oil a hazardous substance that has to be controlled by the state.

Took the wife to see it yesterday. Really enjoyed the film. Well made, the driving scenes were good, and no political overtones.
Made the wife cry and I didn't have to hear you just wasted another two hours of my life on one of your movies.
The played the Ford V Ferrari trailer, nice to see it on the big screen.

I took the under dash Stewart Warner gauges out of 6S1802 and relay on the factory gauges. They have been doing their yob for 53 years.

And it's been verified by Howard.

Been grabbing my cracked '66 wheel for 38 years. Gives me a place to rest my thumb.

Ran into the same problem on 6S1802. I put a '67 tray and hold down clamp in it. Don't like it but what else is there if we can't get original style batteries anymore?

Let's all hope the world is ending environmentalists that run the sunshine state don't decide to rid the state of all those nasty old polluting cars in an effort to save the planet. California is already refusing to register 1991 and older heavy duty, F450 and above diesel trucks unless they are retrofitted with diesel pollution controls. They will stop sending out registration renewals for those vehicles starting in 2020.
So far we are lucky here, no bi annual inspections anymore prior to 1976, however all motor vehicles 1955 and up are still subject to the emissions laws that are in place and if a modification is found you could still be directed to the Bureau of Automotive Repair and told to make the vehicle compliant. Can't wait to get to northern Arizona.
