1967 Shelby GT350/500 / Grease pen numbers ?
« on: February 05, 2021, 05:22:16 PM »
Upon putting 1551 back together I noticed some numbers I am curious about. Any help would be appreciated. Behind the rear license plate on the valance in grease pen is the number 307. Taking out the carpeting I noticed 307 on the underneath side.  And when removing the rear seat, once again 307 on the lower side. Thanks

Soon as I learn how to navigate this site a little more comfortably, I have several photos I can share. Starting when I pulled her from storage I January 2020 to present. Thanks all.

Sleeping Shelby has been that way because---22 years old. Girls. Beer. No anti freeze. Engine stolen from machine shop. Transmission loaned to a friend. Lack of funds to do it justice. --- Now it's time for a 482 tunnel port, toploader, freshened interior. Pictures soon.

Just joined the forum. Bought my 67 500 in April of 1970. It's been sleeping since 1972. For my birthday (70) this last year, I made a promise to put it back together for this coming summer. Will post photos when I figure how.
