Yes. White on parchment.

Out of the garage and onto the street for first time since 71. Took  it to the gas station ($85) then about a 4 mile shake down with a chase vehicle behind.
No leaks or overheating. No brake lights.
Small fix!

Just a shout out to Stewart for remarkable work. I recently received and installed my rebuilt lap belts and harnesses. They are stunning. Stewart was able to supply original parts for any I was missing, and helped me determine what was needed and what was not. Didn't try to over sell.( didn't have to. I saw his work!)
I had heard he could sometimes be difficult. Far from it!  All my calls were returned promptly and work was shipped on time. Highly recommended!
(How'd I do Stewart? Now pay up!)😄😄😄

SAAC Forum Discussion Area / Insurance?

I'm sure it's been asked many times. "What insurance company " After hibernation (over 50 years) my 67 should be ready for a test drive.
What company for the occasional driver quality car?
Once or twice a month. No long distance.  Thanks

I converted my 67 500. No issues. Everything bolts right up. Bellhousing with the Hump is needed. Clutch pedal assembly of course. Different speedo cable. Transmission mount with 390 stamp. And drive shaft to fit. Easy.

427heaven. Our cars have been Sleeping for nearly the same amount of time. Since 1971 for me. Into the exhaust shop on Wednesday. 3 inch all the way with Shelby like tips. We'll see how it comes out. Will try to share photos.

68krrr.  You're correct. Sort of.
Many offers over the years even as I  tried to keep it under wraps.
But I swear to you, never never did I any thoughts of parting with it.

It's Alive! Well well well. Last time my 67 500 moved on it's own was 1971. Long story that I'll share sometime. 71 is when the engine was stolen. Since I didn't have an engine I loaned my transmission and rearend to a friend. Never got it back. Remember, I was a dumb kid. So it sat without running gear till 2 years ago. It was time to put it back together. Today I started it and drove it out of my shop for about 20 ft. Then backed it back in. Next week is exhaust. What a glorious feeling!
