does anyone know the story when they went from the cut rear retainer to the full retainer.  what cars got what  67 and 68

I have one on ebay  right now.  advanced search by seller acman63  Link  https://www.ebay.com/itm/282827537316   BTW Ive probably owned a couple hundred nos sill emblems in the last 42 years  and Ive never seen a NOS  early 66 single line plate with raised CS   Im not sure they were ever serviced

small block rods have no numbers.  big block has one rod with a C7 #  on it

Just to be clear.  the plates on 100  are the same as the real late 66 emblems.  Most of the 66s  has the single line with the raised CS

I HAD A GEAR COMPANY MAKE THESE  FOR ME USING A NOS ONE TO MAKE THE PRINT.   I HAVE A FEW LEFT OUT OF THE MINIMUM RUN $159.95  PLUS THE RIDE.  WE LOVE PAYPAL FRIENDS AND FAMILY PAYMENT

In getting these in for rebuild Ive seen alloy T10s to around serial number 1000  or so. Ive never been able to document an original untouched car that came from SA with a cast iron Tailshaft.  Talking to some of the SA  people years back they knew there was an issue and they thought the tails were replaced by the dealers at no charge if they broke. Ive weld repaired many especially the longer T10L  versions.  On another note.  Ive got SA catalogs showing the T10M  with cast iron tails  being sold over the counter
