What a generous gesture by The Miller family.  I know I really missed seeing CSX2000 on my recent trips to the Vegas museum.  I'll be great to see it there again.

Can you reach out to me via email, I'd rather not do this publicly. I've got the car (pretty much exactly in the condition described) and may be looking to sell.

Reply email sent.

FYI, I'm the SAAC registrar for these cars.
Basically he's "The Warrior of the wasteland" and the "Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla".   ;D

Let me know what dealer you are looking for.....
I'd be looking for Johnny Bolton Ford out of Maitland, Florida.  Would love to find an ad for my 68 GT500.

How do you research old news papers for the 60's?  I've always wanted to do this but never knew how.

It's too bad people can't enjoy good entertainment for what it is.

I really liked Matt Damon and Christian Bale in a great deal of their movies.......  Damon in Good Will Hinting & Rounders and Bale in 3:10 to Yuma,...... those are really good movies done by some bleeding heart liberals.

I love Clint Eastwood in Unforgiven and Gran Torino (a good movie that features a Ford product).  Unforgiven is in my personal top 3 movies of all time.  Eastwood is epic in his movies and an incredible director/producer who is a staunch, gun toting republican.

I realize that Matt Damon and Clint Eastwood have nothing to do with each other in this movie but the bottom line is that I love the actors, directors and producers for what they are.  They are entertainers and I separate their sometimes extreme personal opinions from their artistic creations.

In summary, I'm looking forward to anything that will put the Shelby story in the public eye.  It helps advance the Shelby legacy as well as our Shelby club.  It promotes our passion for these great cars as well as the future of these cars.  Bring on the movie, I hope it does well.

I'm pretty excited for this movie. I really like Matt Damon and I think Christian Bale will do an excellent job as Ken Miles. I'm looking forward to this coming out.

Ahhh the chase..... I remember going through all of this to get the history of my 68 GT500 Vert #1394.  Keep digging Corey, hopefully all the blanks will be filled in over time.  It took me a couple of years but I went from having absolutely zero history on my car to a complete historical chain of all owners right back to the original buyer of my car.  It was an epic search for me and I kinda miss the chase but I ultimately achieved my goal.

Special thanks to the South Carolina DMV for all their help.

Keep at it Corey, the chase is a big part of the adventure.

Awesome news!  I'll get my photo and description ready.  Guess I've got a few years before the next 68 registry comes out but I'll be ready.

Did you drive it across the block before it sold?

That's a nice white GT.  I had the same 89 white GT coupe when I was 20.  It was my first performance car.   Good times.
