The Registry database so far has 641 cars with a "Z". Most started in mid to late April with a couple reported in late March. It should be noted that some of the very late cars were actually completed after the official production ended. Several of these cars do not have a "Z".

At the last GAA classic car auction in Greensboro a fully restored 67 gt500 brittany blue sold for 93k, It literally made me sick on my stomach because I left before it went up thinking it would be in 140's...If I had known she would be sitting beside my other brittany blue as we speak..

This car sold cheap because it had very bad history. The buyer did his homework and backed out of the deal.

Here's a direct side by side comparison of the two types of invoices.

Besides the invoice numbers starting with a "F" letter on the "Continuation" invoice it also used the "F" to start the customer order number.

The "Continuation" invoices have a "Special Handling Charge" at a flat rate of $100.
The "Vehicle" invoices usually have both a "4.0 Gal. Gas" charges and a "Freight/Transportation Charges". Freight charges vary.

Freight charges to Holliday Ford, CA and Hayward Ford, CA are $146.75.
Compare that to Koons Ford, VA at $98.75 or Gotham Ford, NY at $107.75 and something seems off.
Maybe the variable in costs are due to the distances from the rail yard?

Rich,

I would be glad to look into this if you provide a list of Continuation Invoices you have.
I don't have either of these invoices. The first thing I see is these invoices have obvious mistakes. Both these cars are "White".
Note that Car #23 is listed as "Red" and car #22 is listed as "Dark Moss Green".
I also don't have either of these cars going to these destinations.
Where did you get these forms? They appear to be very inaccurate. Perhaps mistakes?

12 67 wheel for very early 1968

I still have the original set of steel wheels from my 5/1/1967 assembled 1967 GT 350. Four of the wheels are dated 1967 and one wheel is dated 1966.

It's a neat car. The owner is enchanted with it.

If you see the owner again, please ask /get more photos!
PLEASE...I'm beggin' here!

First of all, the owner is very private. The car is in long term storage while he completes another project. He plans to start this one in a year or two and hopes that people will respect his privacy.

I have owned small blocks and big blocks and appreciate both. We drive our cars quite a bit and the small blocks are by far more trouble free. Besides handling better they can run on any fuel, run cool on hot days, always start and don't have to stop at every gas station. If you want more power, it doesn't take much to bump the horsepower up.

Ron,
He isn't in the Registry database. If you make contact with him, we would like to get him included.
