Glad you have your original hubcaps and are going to put them back on. For years I lusted for a set of 10 spokes but now  hubcaps are back in style. I was hoping someone more knowledgeable than I would respond but I guess you have me for now.

I guess if I noticed the clip-on weights keep the cap from seating flush against the wheel but I never paid it much mind.

Installing the hubcaps can be like a masochistic game of whack-a-mole. I think I came up on a good method the very last time I put one on but I need to test it again before I say for sure. I'll try to test it this week.

Ted

Will be interesting to hear your method.

Sorry and thanks.....

Is it too much to ask you to keep the discussion of a car "up for auction" to one thread?
Perhaps, place the original thread in the right sub section of the forum so the moderators do not have to do it after the fact?

https://www.saacforum.com/index.php?topic=16803.msg135983

It's not rocket science,  ::)

I'd like to have the information on a 68KR in the 68 section.  Is that too much to ask? Delete the post in the Auction section for me please and I'll repost after the auction is over in the 68 section.  Or wait 5 minutes when the auction is over.  Sheeeze.

God forbid there is too much car talk here taking away from the Lounge nonsense.

One of 55 white/saddle KR's?    I'm surprised that many were made in that combo.

Also, there is no SOLD date on the Marti report.  Is that common?

Up For Auction / 68 GT500KR 04370
November 04, 2021, 11:16:01 AM
Up for auction now on ebay.  Looks to be a solid original car with a paint change.   Seller says 1 of 6 in this paint/trim combo but the Marti says 1 of 55.  I'm not sure I ever saw a white/saddle KR?

Not familiar with that dealership either.  Bill Price Ford, Reading PA.

Nice documentation.
