My limited research on this matter over the years has seen me narrow down the change from white to gold printed washer bags to be in the month of may.

happy to be corrected by others if they have done this exercise in further depth.

Parts For Sale / NOS 65/66 UPPER CONTROL ARM BALL JOINT
September 14, 2021, 02:20:07 AM
I have an extra NOS C20Z-3049-D upper control arm ball joint with the correct C40A boot cover. suits 65/66 cars

this is a early FOMOCO part as the box is dated 1966. very hard to find now a days, been obsolete for many decades.
it is a correct part for someone wanting to get there control arm correct and not use the latter FORD service part with the C7 boot.
a rare part for someone doing a true Division 1 car

Price is $475 and includes free postage back to the US.
please view photos attached and if you have any questions please ask away

Parts For Sale / restored C4ZF fuel sender unit
July 26, 2021, 01:49:52 AM
might interest some fellow forum members.

i have just completed a restoration on a genuine C4ZF fuel sender unit, this example was a really nice piece to start with and is correct for any 1965 mustang and shelbys.

original ford stamping of C4ZF-9275-B  and the date code of E5= May 1965 are very clean and visible

price is $500usd and includes free shipping back to the US if needed.

i am also in the process of restoring a C6ZF example for a 1966 mustang/shelby if someone is interested......................

And yet they still cant provide any further information on the car.  multiple emails sent, phone calls made.
guess there either not interested in getting the best return they can for the seller or are just dumb.

Wanted to Buy / Re: 1966 control arms

BOB.

i was under the impression, very early examples of lower arm boots had the word LOWER and a C2 engineering number and the next version was the C50A example. NOS lower arms on the other hand have the C7 boot

if there is another version are you able to share some images??

C4 marked boots would be assemblyline on ether style. With all that said the best of luck with your search.

you sure on the C4 boots for lower control arms Bob, believe C40A boots where only for upper control arms.
