Looking for pair of Kelsey Hayes 65 GT350/Mustang disk brake pad retaining plates and screws. This is the plate that keeps the brake pads in correct location. Must be pit free. PM me with what you may have and asking price.
Thanks

Replicas and Tribute / 65 Push Button Starter Switch
February 17, 2019, 06:04:10 PM
65 A-Code. Want to remove the existing cigarette lighter and replace it with a momentary push button starter switch. Anyone go down this rabbit trail before? Will retain original ignition switch and it will continue to start the car if key turned to "start" position. I want to remove lighter bezel and install a button switch that will start engine if key is in "on" position.
Any suggestions?

Already have the 205's with roller lifter springs. Also have 1:6 roller rockers and hydraulic roller lifters. Probably got horse bit before cart, but that's why I am searching for a hydraulic roller cam. I do have a better 3rd member that may find its way into the car.

Isn't the 282S a flat tappet cam?

Replicas and Tribute / Cam Suggestions
February 12, 2019, 07:42:22 PM
Am having a 302 stroker (331) built for my sons 65 A-code and am searching for your suggestions as to which cam I should look hard at. Engine is a forged piston 10.5:1 compression, H beam rods, forged crank, AFR 205 heads to be fitted to a C4 3-speed automatic. Rear gears are 3.50:1 posi. Ignition will be MSD with EFI fuel delivery. Most likely Atomic EFI unit.  Want a hydraulic roller cam with lot of lower RPM torque with power thru 5500-6000.
Looking for suggestions as to lift, duration, overlap, LSA. Appreciate your thoughts. One suggestion I have received is a 218/228 .544/.544 112 LSA. Want one that shakes the ground at idle but screams. Remember, its an automatic.
Thanks

So if vehicle remains relatively close to sea level, really don't need to change the 600 plate to one that accepts jets to assist with higher elevation changes?

Doug, Looks like my calendar for LeMans and Daytona is full for "several" more years.

Is there a registry for non-Shelby 65 mustangs? Looking for previous owner of a 65 C code.
Thanks

Had thought about something like that. May be stupid question but here goes. Will the Lemans float bowls work with a 1850?

Can anyone tell me which vacuum secondary pump spring works best with their 65 715 CFM Holley? Heavy, light or middle of road?
Thanks

Are the Crager 5-spoke center caps supposed to be painted white or natural in color?
