The Lounge / Re: All they wanted was a 66 Ford Mustang

This was such a bummer.  A few local Mustang owners and myself arrived at the cemetery in advance and lined up our cars to pay tribute as the funeral procession came by.

if you have not found a hauler yet, contact Chris at www.discountautotransport.com
He's a broker and a Mustang guy.  He's helped moved a lot of cars for myself, my friends and family over the last 10 years
You can tell him Mike in GA passed his info on.

Sorry to hear about the loss of your dad.  Sounds like he was a good Ford guy and in my book had his priorities in order....selling/giving up 2 Shelbys to make you and your sis possible.

Congrats on the purchase, exciting.

If you need a shipper, I've used a broker many times.  He is a Mustang guy and I actually sold him a Fastback a few years back.
Contact Chris if you need a quote or help with the move.

This seller often posts his for sale cars in a few Facebook groups.  It has not made it there yet (unless it is in groups I'm not part of).  Maybe it hasn't hit certain groups for a reason!
Some of his cars descriptions have seemed interesting in the past.  This one is top on the list!

You'd think they could have wrote a description unless I just missed it!

Just got an e mail from bring a trailer, 1-2 week delay on their part. I will post  a link here when the auction begins. Thank you as always.

Dan

They have either found a way to pick up the pace or they were generous with that estimate.  They had been running 3-5 weeks out for doing live.

Thanks for sharing!  Enjoyed reading it and seeing the pics!

A bit off the original topic but I think most officers today don't really know where to look for vins on old Mustangs.
When I've need a few verified in the past I usually have to educate the officer.  Just my experience tho.

Thanks
I'd be glad to compensate someone for helping

Drop me a PM if you are not far from there...cars are about 30 mins north.

Thanks

The current seller is a bit of a regular flipper on Facebook.  He buys them, always asks "what should I do with it...hmmm maybe I'll bring it back to original" and the next days it's up for sale.
