Door tag is missing and I have ordered a registry but, trying to fill in some pieces of the puzzle. Like ownership history and what info is in the registry on it, was hoping to share a little info over Christmas but, does not look like registry will make it by weekend.

1965-1966 Shelby Registrar

Howard Pardee: saachp@snet.net

This is who you should direct your inquiries to if you only have the Ford VIN stamped into the inner fender panels, and the underhood "SFM" tag is missing.

Bill

That was my next post. Speak to the registrar only with your Ford VIN.
Any pics of car itself, colour? Condition

I agree they look legit. I think the rubbers in them are a good indicator. The repo rubbers are terrible and never sit like the originals. I hope you reunite them with a car in need

Best wishes

Same old tune - everyone wants a "deal" - we have had the same treads posted over and over again by different people. Good cars sell quick and for a lot, but unless you have actually restored a car, a cheap rusty mess like that 68 350 that was on eBay might not be your best bet. The reality is there are no cheap Shelby's anymore - you either pay up front or pay along the way.

We have a band over here called the Whitlams and they have a great song line "you buy now and pay later"

Always good to see a car resurface. It's a white no stripe 4 speed car like one of mine. Does it have painted magnums still?

Cheers

Do you mean these brackets? Relocated more medially to accomodate for the override traction bars
