Well, I know if you go to enough car shows, this kind of thing will happen.  I love it when at a popular vote type show, some car (doesn't matter what kind) will show up with an hour left in judging...and still trophies in a popular class.  You know the "fix" was in.
I tropied one time at an auto shop show put on by the High School I went to.  I got the "Aldermans Award"  Why?  Because I happened to write on the show card "Class of 1970"......

I'm curious.  Was that car (#0020) displayed at MCACN just a few years back?

Don't know.  Me, I'd weld the hole and grind away to make it work.

Well, you get a lot of push back from the self-declared experts.  The magstar paint issue, the "how much over spray (underspray?) on the chassis, other things that are hard to prove no matter how much investigation you do.
I will say that, I have no idea how they store that prop rod as it looks a little too long to fold down anywhere, but, this might have been one of those Shelby/American "let's try it" things.
They want 225K, and I hope they get it.

I taught a niece and 2 nephews how to drive stick.  But it was on my 94 4 cylinder Ranger work beater.  All three enjoyed learning stick.

  A rare Bronze colored car.

Here is yet another theory:  the "blue lady" lives on in other modified, and or fixed up Mustangs and maybe Shelbys when it was parted out by a wrecking yard...back in the 70's.  The rest sold for scrap.

I guess I'll never understand the fixation on this Shelby.  A rocker owned it for a short time, didn't abuse it any more than anyone else did at the time.  Anything special about it?  Did it jump a few cars in a roadblock at the bridge?  Set any speed records?
   Who gonna find it?

I am surprised that a few choice parts haven't got into the "midnight auto supply" market.

Better to have the light go off, rather than the lights going out, eh?

I didn't do any figuring, but, at 70MPH my tach reads 3500 RPM.
