The Lounge / Re: Your Opinion Please

I'm with choice #1.  Somebody had to think through to order the firsts as red cars.  Good marketing projection.

Someday, we'll hear the real stories about Lil'red and the green hornet.  There has to be more to it.  And, as if it matters now, what is the true story about the executive sales pool?

Best helpers ever!!  My youngest daughter still brags about the day she helped me put the 289 back into my 67 Shelby.  Long ago.

So, when did the "star" part of the logo imprinted onto the plug disappear?

Last week I PMed/Nagged the moderator a little to get the date fixed as, you will recall, the headline said June 10-12.  All fixed now.

  Thank  you

Additional question:  OK, I'm trying to build a tribute to Lil'red.  So, the literature I've read said it had "Multoon (?) pile carpeting.  Who do I see for that?  Any number to call for a custom set?

The Lounge / Re: Ethanol and old carbs

Ethanol and the original type of carb needles don't mix.  Seems the ethanol is hard on the seals.  And, also, the fuel bowls that get eaten through.  So, don't use the 87 octane stuff or any other blend that says "contails 10% ethanol.

In my experience with early Mustangs:  The first place to look is the Idler arm bushing for loose steering.

Seems the date has moved to one week later.  Can somebody pin it down?

Sorry to say, somebody ought to tell the MCA because the latest issue of Mustang Times has it June 10th-12th.

The 67 and 68 Shelbys have new and separate judging sheets for 2020.  Best look into them.

Plenty of boxes from Branda.  No knock on Branda, but, it should make you think twice.

George, I was hoping you would reply to this.  Good photos.

Shelby fan since high school in the 60's.  Plenty of car shows, and SAAC conventions.  And yet I have never seen a 67' Shelby de Mexico.  Never.  Just the photos posted from when they were new.  Same with the 68's.

Com'on Nick, you need them for your front room.

Hasn't been too long but didn't somebody suggest to trim the gasket to the housing so it doesn't show?  Seems this was a week back or so.
