Hasn't been said 'till now:  Nobody likes the grain on the repop panels, and, as far as I know, nobody has bothered to correct it.  Am I wrong in this?

I've been through this.  Used to clear coat everything aluminum.  But, seems that glass beading, then leaving it like that works well.  Even after fuel spills and such, cleans up nice with no staining.  That is if it isn't laying there for months and months.

Pay attention to the clocking of the bypass hose tower clamps.

And I just missed the one for sale today in the forum here....boohooo................

  Can I simplify the answer?
The larger hoses the go to and from the radiator: Wire type clamps that are stapled to the hose.
The heater hoses and bypass hose: tower types, but beware, the bypass hose has a slightly smaller size then the heater hose clamps.  Oh, and watch the fastener "clocking".

On the VMF (Vintage-Mustang.com) there is a retired fellow named "Midlife".  He seems to do a nice job and, as I have read, can repair any wiring issues.

I'm not seeing an answer.  Are the respondents saying the bracketry from an S code (390) factory installation will not work on a 428?  How so?

But it seems so much more "upscale" when you get that foreign accent mode going, right?

I have noticed this too in MCA publications.  An overwelming amount of late model Mustangs and Shelbys.  Even the Fox bosies are dropping off, count wise.

Well, I'm wondering why you are asking.  Has it already been taken off?

Anyway, it looks like a pop rivet with rounded eight points

That is correct.  Back in the sixties there was a lot of car theft issues.  So, the government had the manufacturers make special rivets.  How about trying to cover your current plate before the media blaster has at it.

Same here.  Sorry to hear this.  He was always a nice person to do business with.
