After 47 years since someone has driven my car as a complete car, it soon will have all its interior work done to make it whole again. I received the upholstery for it and will soon be getting it back together. It will have parchment comfort weave to compliment its Nightmist blue with white stripes theme. Hope to have some pictures of it going back together as some of you know I'm not too good with taking pics. To those not knowing the story line it was a street racer long before street racing became popular with shows like Street Outlaws. It was the king of the streets around New York-Jersey-Philly areas with Blue Cheer painted on its sides. This is what apparently the owner was on ( BLUE CHEER ) when he took an off road excursion with the tunnel port outfitted 427 and has sat for the last 47 years as an incomplete Bad Boy Big Block. Soon to completed, hope to have some pics showing its progress!

Prices are up this year, after milling about most of the auctions and coffee spots-shows in the local vicinity a few deals were had without the 10 percent buyers fee, 10 percent sellers fee, shipping fees,and listing fees... Few   they add up quick! 150k each  for a 350 auto on 2 different cars is what I heard from both new owners, congratulations to both of them hopefully they come on board and join the party here! A good time was had by all, see you at some events this year.

Every ones opinions on this subject are correct. Lets look at the similarities from the very beginning, OL Shel builds some of the coolest cars ever developed, then HE develops a heart condition. What to do now? He starts the Shelby heart foundation and fortunes roll in from the goodness of everyones hearts and check books,those that could did donate and not only did he get a new ticker but he had a few extra coins in his pocket to have a very nice life for the next 30 years or so whos counting where the money is going anyways right? The only true means of the glue, that holds the VERY FEW of us together is this forum. Years and years of collecting info on the cars and all of us is literally flushed down the toilet with no backup. Comparison- (Shelbys heart going bad) how to fix it -Donations  There are always those that can and will come to the rescue financially and any other means necessary to help, it doesn't mean that others are any less sympathetic to the cause just doesn't mean they should be penalized because they didn't get their I DONATED buttons! The key here is to hold onto the people that love these cars dearly and to promote further excitement of the cars. If financial membership is required for enthusiasm and enjoyment we will lose the fan base, its on a slippery slope right now and we live in a world that has healthy distrust so now it is time to shore up its inadequacies. Just one mans opinions-

I grew up in and around that dealership it has been a part of our family for the past 40 years our good friend ran the parts division for decades. A real Ford persons hangout with G A S garage across the street you can have any ford dream built for you. Cool place!!!

Since I am in need of redoing my interior where is the so called cutoff for early or late I'm car 1189... Thanks

Hello Jeff good to here from you again. You saw the HOOD all my neighbors are real straight shooters literally and figuratively. Surrounded by all forms of the long arm of the law. From local sheriffs to well right up there at the top of the protection agencies. So most forms of military-government officials-outlaws-sports figures etc all use different names, some for fun, some for not so fun things if they wanted to throw their names out there they would. In America we all do things differently for various reasons. Hope to see you again be well.

Good to see bathing beauties and cool cars are still in vogue.

It appears to still have many bugs to work out..... Super slow the real question is how many will not return? Sad really we live in a world where ease of navigation is utmost. There are so very few already we don't want to shrink the SHELBY community any more then we have to! Time will tell if it all works out.

So I am cleaning out my storage locker and my neighbor is cleaning out his locker as well, I look down and see a complete c7zx dual quad intake set up and ask if he wants to sell it and he said he would. I ask if he has anymore STUFF he might sell and said how about some tunnel port 427 engine parts, I said yes I would be interested, we make a deal on price and mention to him it sure would be nice if he new where the rest of the car that the intake manifold came off of, he says he does know where it is and proceeds to take me to it and one thing leads to another and now the Big-Bad-Blue Shelby is headed to my shop. The car was taken off the road in 1971 due to a mishap while street racing. Fast forward 47 years and the Beauty and the beast is now running around on its own power with a 427 medium riser and the goal is to run 176 mph to be the fastest day 2 street Shelby on the planet, using 50 year old technology. It was mentioned before but all was lost to cyber space... Still will need some help finishing my project, Thanks to all who have helped to this point and welcome more assistance in attaining my goal.

In my neck of the woods we put stickers stating the obvious- NOTHING IN THIS TRAILER IS WORTH YOUR LIFE- That way the bad guys have been warned. Friends have mentioned that if a warning sign has been ignored,locks and alarms have been ignored, that sometimes bad things happen to those doing things they shouldn't be doing. The legal system agrees. Don't tread on me still rings clear.
