I seriously looked into running twin Paxtons on my car. Cobra automotive had the Paxtons , custom engine plate, and related hardware. To say they were expensive would be an understatement, and the gain was just not worth it. Sure it would have the wow factor but not the go factor, the goal was to run the vintage parts like they might have back in the day!

Restorers are looking for that part number on there Hipo rebuild/ restoration project. It has the large counterweighted area which many do not have it will have the Orange paint stripe thru the part number or a dark stain from the remnant of the paint from 60 years ago. It will also have the Brinell test mark on it but many at this point dont really care about that specific item. They want the part number , this shows because of the bidding going on with that part.

Im in... As some might recall my car was a street racer from day one. It was one of the fastest cars on the east coast - Known as Blue Cheer! Yes I am sure some drugs were involved with what the Hipsters were on/using at the time. ;D It was only used and abused for approximately 4-5 years before it was taken off the road from a street racing shunt/mishap. They blew up the original 428 then came a progression of more powerful engines to stay on top of the street racing world. They slid in a 427 Medium riser and then a Tunnel Port 427 sporting 454 inches. I received much of those items when I got the car. After nearly 50 long years in nap mode it is prowling the streets again in street race mode. Now that it is together, I am looking for it to run that 177 Mph with vintage parts to best the Super Snakes top speed- HERE IT IS!

If someone could blow it up or clarify the picture somehow, to see what a newer car in the pic would be. I remember many of those cars wishing I had something that was good enough to be invited. Similar cars were there around 77- 78! Will look in my way back machine for similar pictures.

Parts For Sale / Re: Factory Original Cobra windshields

Update on windshields, These windshields are apparently for an aftermarket Cobra. They are not originals as stated. Friend looked closer and they appear to be from around 1979 and newer. Apologies! :-[
