SAAC Forum

I saw it last summer at Fantasy Junction on my way to the SAAC convention, as I noted on the other thread.  And it's still listed on the FJ website, but maybe they didn't update it.

It's interesting that it's showing up in two different locations, across the country from each other, with different showroom backgrounds and prices, at the same time. We stopped and looked at this in the Fantasy Junction showroom on the way to SAAC 46 last summer, and I gave Howard a report.  Looked like a decent driver at the time from my brief viewing of it.  FJ price is now a bit lower than last summer.

I'm curious, as we get up to that area on occasion, does anyone know what the actual street address was of Shelby's motel?  There are still a number of vintage motels in the area, as well as more modern ones.

If anyone has an interest.  Great vehicle to tow your Cobra or Shelby track or show car...

I should note the second and third pictures I just posted are a 65 Mustang that I drive that has some similarities to 6S341....  

I bought Tommy's car through Lynn Park back in 97.  Have known both since that time, and frequently exercise our cars at the Cobra Club at WSIR with Lynn and Tom Mc, etc. as well as at other events like the recent SAAC 46, SVRA, CSRG, etc...
  Tommy and his son usually come out on the first day of the Cobra Club weekends from Az, and it was he who recently told me about the magazine article.  I have others in my files that I found over the years, at least one more written by you, Van...  6S341 appeared in quite a few publications over the many years that Tommy had it, and a few since we've had it.  It's a great early '66!

Correction, white with blue stripes...

Late reply...one was in Custom Rodder, April 1982.  Tom Ford owned our car at the time (6S341, blue with white stripes).  It was with Tom McIntire's cool Cobra.

Looks really good Greek.  And I recognize those stable mates.
