If you bought/restored it you'd only be about 30 grand upside down when you were done.

If it is going to take $62,000 to buy it, yup.

^^^^looks a lot like the V-12 Ford built for Sherman tanks.

I would love to learn more if it truly was a 12 cylinder FE.

Several have sold on BaT in the last year, all in the mid $60's.

Does not matter if he paid the ADM. He gave that to the dealer to be first on the block. That money is long gone.

Did you grab any pictures? Sounds like a real interesting car.

Would love to see that hood.

Is the intent here to prevent somebody from profiting from the use of other's photos and/or articles or to prevent sharing photos and articles, which have relatively low monetary value, with other like-minded hobbyists in an environment that money is not being exchanged?

I get it, some people don't want their material showing up anywhere without compensation. Most of those protect their data with encryption or at the least, watermarks.

When paying to use (non-technical) copyrighted data for commercial purposes, most of the money goes to the money collection service, not the actual owner of the data.

Today's self-driving cars don't need a 5th wheel.

That's progress, right?   ::)

Correct JD. what are on the car now are what I believe to Branda repops from the mid to early 90's.

Yes, Chrome rather than black or body color. (Though I know I may have to restore)

Are the originals die-cast potmetal like those bigger diameter rings found on non-Shelbys (recessed backside with factory insignia) or some form of stamped metal to be painted/chromed later?

If you drive a car out of California, you have to pay the sales tax, but my state will credit that towards our own sales tax of 10%.

If you transport the car out of the state, you don't have to pay California tax.

That's him in the 67. Someone took the picture if I recall because they couldn't believe he was driving it  ;)

I would love to have a copy of that for my personal keeping if it is open source.

If not, I understand.
