Hone-O-Drive annouced they were gearing up to go back into production.

Unfortunately, It appears it did not happen. Too bad, I would love to have one. They maintain their website tho???

Be gentle on your T-5. They are known to be fragile compared to a toploader.

By chance did you get any engine bay pictures?

There were 2 prototypes - for lack of a better description. One was built with live axle and the other to refine the IRS installation. They were run side by side to gauge development. I suspect that he has one of those 2 cars.

Do you know if the two were objectively compared for ride & performance?

Randy, way to represent!

Nice, concise description of your car, no ums, ahs, sloppy car guy slang etc. Great engaging demeanor.
It is very obvious your knowledge base is broad.

Why does this matter? Because the hobby and sport need that! We are at a point where we need as many friends as possible. Seriously.

Then there is your car. I love it. Love that you drive a car that is legally raced at that level.

Totally love the day 2 wheels, tires, go-fast upgrades. This car is awesome. Can't say how much I love your car.

Are you suggesting some of the other things that you mentioned be listed in the signature or under your Avatar?

Personally, I like the forum member's generalized location under the avatar so I know if I am reading/conversing with someone close or far away.

Could also put up SAAC member since 1975 under the avatar.

I agree, it doesn't take long to understand who knows their stuff here.

I would use that radiator in a heartbeat for a driver's car.

Tell me more about this "lifestyle," cause I appear to be missing out.  Maybe I didn't spend enough?

LOL!   😂

Sure would like to see the engine bay, cooling systems and suspension of the car in the listing.

JMO; if the owner wants to generate more interest, he needs to post many more photos.

^^^ yes, scanned from my copy that I bought off the newsstand when it came out.

Every once-in-awhile I'll post something that I saw somewhere else, but mostly I prefer to generate new content scanning from my own personal collection.

And then it is fun to see my stuff re-posted and even printed in magazines.

Well, we are grateful for all this eye candy   😉

Sports Car Graphic was a terrific magazine.

What did you mean WAS?   just got last month's in the mail today...

Bought this issue of the news stand while a college student. A couple bucks was a trivial amount at that time in my life. Dinner often consisted of a 33 cent generic box of Mac & Cheese. If finals week wrapped up, I tossed in Jenie-O turkey franks.

I still have this issue BTW. Tattered from being read over and over while I was convincing myself staying in school was a worthwhile endeavor.

Imagine the amount and variety of swear words that came out of CS's mouth that day!

I am guessing the check from Ford cashed so he probably did not give a c*ap.
