Petronix 1 is shown reliable. How do you know the spark is weak? Original yellow top coils are great.

I’ve had Heacock forever. Had one claim and they treated me like my child had been injured. I’ll never switch.

Too many’65s in one auction, not 2 bidders on each car, uncertain economic times, and car quality are variables that impacted those auctions IMHO

Reproduction Goodyear blue dot tire for 1965 Shelby GT350. Brand new. I thought I was going to use it for my spare, but found an original one. $400 plus shipping (shrink wrapped well).

Spin Tech’s are my favorite. Running them on my CJ Mach with H pipe. Previously ran them on a 427 in a 68 GT 500 with full 3” exhaust, Tri Y headers, and Dr Gas X pipe. I’m going to duplicate that exhaust on my 427 Fairlane.

After waiting 10 months for some Fairlane door panels from Mac’s, they cancelled the order. Another supplier had them to me in a few months.

Thanks Bob. Would the instrument voltage regulator affect the function of the other gauges?..they seem to be ok.

SAAC Forum Discussion Area / Help With Fuel Gauge Not Working
« on: April 11, 2023, 08:23:44 PM »
I'm working on my neighbor's factory pink/white interior 289 4-speed convertible. The gas gauge is not working, or only works inaccurately. My guess was a hole in the float. I pulled a C8 FoMoCo fuel sending unit out of the tank and the float was good. Does it matter that it is a C8 unit? I then grounded the fuel sending unit wire with the key on...the gauge did not move. How do I test the fuel sending unit? Should I test the output of the instrument panel voltage regulator? Next steps?....I'm a little stumped. Thanks.
