The Mustang Owner's Museum is having a National Mustang Day event 4/14-4/16


One of the highlights is that Chuck Cantwell, program manager for the GT350 at Shelby American will be there on 4/15.  As part of his presentation, SFM5S003 will be there also, to be as a backdrop and talking points for his discussion.

Anyone have recommendations for a good T10 rebuild kit?  Needed for a standard '66 Mustang cast-iron T10.

I'm used to seeing at least 65-66 289 engines with a smooth top oil pickup screen.  Does anyone know what the dimpled one is from or if it is simply an aftermarket piece?  Any advantage/disadvantage to using one with the dimples?

Anyone have an original black-wall (non-blue dot) Power Cushion Goodyear 7.75-15 tire?  Or, have a good enough pic that shows all the markings?

Have a mint 68 black dash pad (originally black) for sale.  It has the VIN plate notch on the RH side.  No cracks, sagging or any issues, super nice.

Anyone found a replacement trunk weather-strip for a convertible that isn't hard as a brick?  Had the trunk lid fitting perfect, but now had to adjust the latch up to even be able to close after gluing on new weather-strip.

Anyone have a compilation of typical names used on the Utica Plant Quality Built decal that goes on the LH convertible latch handle for a '68?  My car was completed at Metuchen in late April '

Putting a 68 Shelby together and in immediate need of an NOS wood grain instrument cluster bezel.  Correct style with chrome around the center horse bright light indicator.

Lately I have been seeing 65-66 show cars with satin finish door sill plates.  Can anyone provide any documentation or proof that they should be satin?  Original sill plates were left natural aluminum alloy, they were not hot dip anodized like the seat side shields.  Every original I have ever seen and even NOS, a little rub with some chrome polish and the rag turns black.  Do the same thing with a seat side shield and the rag does not turn black.

My opinion is that over time, these sill plates will turn to a dull finish and corrode in some climates.  I have seen several new car images which show quite shiny door sill plates.  Attached is one such period photo o a '65 GT350 conversion.

Looking for either original/correct lenses or will buy complete lamps.

Looking for a nice original set of 1968 Shelby convertible rear interior panels.  Either color is fine.

Minor repairable cracks or other small blems considered.

Flat top phillips or oval head?  April '68 car if it makes any difference.

Still looking for a decent original tail light wiring harness for a '65 fastback.  Would consider a coupe/convertible one, with or without backup light wiring.

Does anyone know the correct original length of the distributor primary wire that goes to the coil?

Looking for NOS early '65 style window crank and door handle.

Need a '68 Shelby moved from central North Carolina to eastern Missouri.  The car runs/drives, but interior is out and trim removed.  Will need enclosed transport.

In need of the following for a '65:

-NOS or really nice original PCV rocker cover grommet.  Would take a standard valve cover with a nice original still in it.

-NOS or mint original FoMoCo oval script, black starter solenoid

-NOS single crimp front brake hose, 1 or a pair.  Mint original restored also ok.

-NOS or very nice original fastback tail light wiring harness, would consider coupe/convertible one without backup light wiring.

Looking for an NOS or mint original '65 starter solenoid.  Black with FoMoCo script in oval.
