1968 Shelby GT350/500/500KR / rag joint
May 06, 2019, 11:28:48 PM
I pulled the steering box out to get it rebuilt and also want to replace the rag joint. Any suggestions on the best source to procure the rag joint? My internet research does not show any rag joints that look like the one I pulled off the car.

The wife and I did a drive by after Breakfast in Enumclaw yesterday. Beautiful new building, lots of large panel windows over the entire lower part of the building. Was easy to spot a 67 shelby. Lots of cars on display. Do not have any other info, but it looks to be ready to open?

Thanks for making this a smooth/stress free experience Vern!  The search for a car has been challenging, disappointing, educating and expensive.  This has been a smooth, pain free process from the get go through inspection, funding and transport. Could not be more happy.

The plus side to this whole Shelby hunt is I got to meet and talk to a lot of great folks that have helped along the way that are all connected through SAAC!

My search for the right car has finally ended after 2 years and 10 months, 4 paid inspections, plane flights, planes missed, road trips, cars missed, disappointments, Barrett Jackson, daily internet searches, phone calls and emails with owners and forum members that were happy to provide their experience and knowledge!  PRICELESS

Some great knowledgeable folks doing the work like your self and Jason. I was fortunate Jason was able to inspect a car for me recently as he was on an extremely tight time line with this project. I am looking forward to seeing the results.
