I need one more NOS C7OZ 3049-A Ford upper ball joint.
I don't need the boot or other pieces if you robbed those.

Looking for a reasonable price. I threw my restored, bare arms in the parts rack and forgot about them. Time to finish all these projects left hanging due to parts needs.

As described in title. Has a nice top and bottom (auto) tank. Appears to have correct side straps. Core is trash.
$500 plus the ride.

Looking for an original center of dash plastic panel  for 1967 deluxe interior. Used is preferred.
It has the slots in it for the brushed aluminum.

I'm looking for one with no damage and the side ears intact.

Chrome plate not an issue as I will have it replated. I don't need the brushed aluminum.

I agree on using a Bridgeport or similar.
A lot of machine shops have resorted to sanding belts hoping the gasket will do the rest. But, we don't use gaskets!

There was a machine shop I used in the 80s that had a large cast iron table with a hole in the middle. A grinding stone with height adjustment was located in that hole. One simply held the manifold flat to the table and ran it over the stone, back and forth. I can't remember the name of it.

My issue is that the Hipo manifold I bought was stored badly and the mating surface has too many pits to use as is.

Found it. It's a Peterson grinding table.

Are you guys using shops that use large sanding belts,  threading a few holes for a fixture and a using a surface  planer or an old school flat table resurfacer?

JD's shows month and year in lug area.  Is the oval Fomoco script also found?

The valve stem area is stamped in 68 and later. Nothing in this area for 67.
The 68s on up have 4 nubs, D shaped air vents and codes in the valve stem area.
68s are relatively common compared to 67s.

There are many T-bird wheels that look similar (but not exact).
If you run the full wheel covers you can use the 15x6 T-bird wheels and most people won't know the difference. The judges and people who have searched for these will.

I was being sarcastic. Guess I missed.
The top right inset in the top pic shows what looks like true Lime Gold.
The car in the larger part of the frame is many shades off of Lime Gold.

This looks fairly close to taking the original formula and attempting to use that exact formula and substitute today's colors into that mix. Ask the many hundred dollars can of paint on my shelf how that worked.

A friend took the front valance from my Calypso Coral Boss and did a color match (using the paint shop camera). They painted the car with this match and it turned out looking pink.

Someone already modded the hell out of my heads with the "Crane Fireball" type mod with huge round exhaust ports that barely fit within the confines of the stock manifolds. But with the valve covers off I didn't want a set of black oxide aftermarket plates staring back at me.
Instead we'll see this:

I liked this solution better than replacing all the studs and possibly having to machine the head for the thicker plates. I did find a set of the C9OX plates and while pricey they look like an era-correct mod.

Rear cap is a C2 and no HiPo caps elsewhere.
The crank counterweights appear polished and crank has a lot of drilled holes on no.1.

I didn't recognize the rocker shaft as coming from a common vendor.

A friend of mine sent me this pic (why not more?) on this C5AE block with screw-in soft plugs and possible head studs. Was this done in the 60s?

The HiPo head has had a rocker arm shaft added. Can't say I've seen this done as it looks very FE style.

Any racers want to chime in?

As noted by the poster on the Concours site this car was built by Ford in SJ on  1/26/1967 and finished by SAI in 2/16/1967.

I would have thought that this car would have the flat panel taillight without the rivets and metal foldover.

I have a 65 clutch pedal right in front of me and it does not have the extra welded on piece like the 67. In JDs pic that's the red bar on the left.
