as usual, i bought several kits from original supplier and found that only one spring was not availible, think it was the black one that is heat treated. got a match, but wrong color, stripped paint, color matched dip painted as original. lso color matched and painted the others. btw, still have original segment shoes and the adjuster plugs in backer plate

as usual, with repops, i went thru several and elected to cleanup my original.

1122 original radiator 2 core, currently stored in box, with coolant. and cap, plugged.have am in it now, for driving

found the original, its 58 1/2 long. cable housing is original, undercoated when new

thanks dave, there is some kind of change though,  had this issue on another mustang with top loader hipo, now my green car somebody must have stolen the inner speedo cable. no signs of forced entry and they put it all back together. want to keep original housing, bought repop unit and will pilfer the core only and cut to fit. shhhh! scoops

to nice to be original, note the cruddy glass work, also no provisions for latch.

66 1122 t10m cast/cast, feb build. anybody know what the ORIGINAL cable length is? using the original housing, cable broke, being told that 4 speeds all use the same cable, but had same issue on another t10 66. it is not the same as toploader or any of the replacement cables from all of our vendors. i will keep original housing but will buy anything fore the core.

issue i found with 14 inch americans, they had to offset the stick on wheel weights. make sure to check that

thanks guys, best help is local. i have my original plate, but cant find it. place is a bit of a mess. lookng to plug the hole for now, dont want to put radio in now.

my 68 3168, still has original mat, bulit 3 15 68, it is like the one in the white convert, cloth type grey in color. very hard to find, if not impossibe.

any one know where to get, not 65 style, 66 only. old or new repop ok, but must be 6 only. phred

price no object, but must be exact, assembly line, not service replacement. having checked tomorrow, thanks though, and, yep i got a 68 350 also, had for 50 years now, black/ black. and yes, i knew gary campbell. got him started in shelbys. sorry.
