1967 Shelby GT350/500 / factory supercharged 67 information

only a few made, looking for info that somebody collected? 67 350 lime green, was in washington state at one time. i think the owner told me it was factory installed, very nice low mile original, except rr had had very poor body repair, in nevada. had the washer bottle relocated to under the heater motor area, he was either original or second owner. think it was 4 speed, he was asking $9500 at the time, a while ago. sold. just interested in the washer relocation, if anyone knows if this was factory. i didnt buy it cause SMALL BLOCKS ARE FOR PUNKS! scoops

68 fastback, the trim around the rear seat latch, are there supose to be washers around the 4 screws? i see them offered, but my original car dosent have them and i see no marks where they would have been. did shelby loose them? car did have a warranty repair for a water leak when new, maybe ford lost them?

small trim that covers upper/lower 1/4 inner trim panels, should it have a slight bend in it around the roll bar? just noticed mine, it makes sense as the panels are tight fit. rh side fits slightly tighter as the roll bar must be slightly off center, maybe 1/16 inch.

what was the name of the company that does the date coded windshields, 66 clear, thicker, like original.best way to kick out the original without wrecking original seal and not making huge mess of old glass. thanks, phred

if a car came without a radio, what , if anything filled the dash speaker hole? (not talking about the block off radio plate) would be same as falcon, or poss all fords? the speaker by he defrost vents. couldn't imagine  a big hole, but I never did pdi.s or radios until the later 60's. thanks, Phred

66 350 open letter valve cover gaskets. been thru sveral sets of gaskets, all fresh and new, fel rpo, napa, no cheap ones and none fit remotely close. best found were the black rubber thick ones and trimed off the tabs. these are the original covers, un warped, never a leakage or fit problem, lst ones been on since the 70's, factory new ford service replacements. what are you using? stock original motor. I am aware of the problems with old nos gaskets shrinking and warping. what was the original gasket like? material, tabs,etc.  thanks, phred

doing a bit of spring detail. car is feb 66 build #1122, both ford and Shelby, original. which radiator hose, oval or square, what hose clamp, tower or wire, correct heater hose clamp, tower or wire. motor is jan 66 and original. clutch equalizer bar natural or black, which under hood clutch return spring, (can't remember, think it was lower, but does have provision for the rare firewall pinchweld hole.)coil bracket is black, hole or no hole, mount bolt smooth center, natural (can't remember if it's original or not). also looking for dye to use for original carpet haver usual ever so slight fade to brown except package area slight fade to grey. anyone found original or repop windshield, clear and thick? thanks group. phred

66 1122 both ford and sa build 2/66. what is the correct motor mount? (I know what the ford parts book says) the car has the simpler 66 motor mounts on it, l&r the same, I put  one on back in 1975, but don't remember what came off of it, can't find it. who has the best reproduction? anyone around my number with original mounts left? phred

66 Shelby. what brand parts do you recommend (if motorcraft not available) must be dependable, no offbeat parts places, no cheap repop junk , these are strictly for driver, but would be nice if looked ok. need coil, cap, rotor, plugs and wires, points, condenser. again, no repops. phred
