i have a set of over the counter magstars from a shelby dealer, back in 68, they have a natural look, no clear and are like the cast iron look in the photos. these have been on my 68 since new, not exposed to outdoors much so not faded, the color may have changed over the years, but still looks like original photo. id go with light cast grey ith a flatner mixed in. scoops

you all miss the point  the hidden mumbers (the original ford vin) you can register and title the car with the ford vin. i have titles for both vins so the car can be traced either way. this is only true for 65 66 67 cars. scoops

i two m an old fard, but fords job is to sell cars. we may not like them but their selling the poop out of them. of course ford is holding back so they can get more money, but, aint that america. scoops, or one scoop with duct tape

i find it funny that 45 years ago, we scoffed at corvette owners for being so picky over such things. look at us now.. i always kept all original parts off my car, still got em. scoops

looking for 68 fastback, original. sorta misplaced mine. there around here somewhere, but i just bant to pus the panel in.

loosen the retaining nut but dont take all the way off, a shot of wd 40 on the shaft the night before will also help
