Hello Friends,
Watching the TV coverage of the event this weekend. Coming back from the commercial breaks I thought I saw what looked to be a 1967 Shelby in Nightmist Blue?
A quick search on the BJ website turned up no results. So was I seeing things again?? LOL
Appreciate any insight.

Thanks!
Bob

Thanks for the all the replies on Raceway Park!

So sad to see the drag racing ending there. I'm sure it wasn't an easy decision for the owners. So Raceway Park ends it's racing like other great and gone NJ tracks, including Flemington Speedway, New Egypt Speedway, Trenton Speedway and many more.

There will still be carting, BMX and other activities on site. I have been told that realtors selling homes in the area were required to provide a disclosure on the track. There is also a sound ordinance with time curfew constraints and only a certain number of unmufflered event dates.

Happy Fun Photo Friday Friends!
Here's a scan of one page from the tire test article in the Sept. 1967 issue of Car & Driver magazine. Story says the test car is an automatic GT350 from Gotham Ford courtesy of Bill Kolb. Car appears to be dark exterior color with a parchment or white interior. They used Hurst wheels. Mounted several tires brands and evaluated the performance.

Enjoy!
