    390 or less =6,000
    428CJ or PI =8,000

Is "my" understanding. Others may have a different opinion.

Les that is the problem with printed matter.  THE moment it is printed , it becomes history as new information becomes available.  Kopec said the current book is likely the last because it takes SO long to to put together! Notice no other entity has even attempted to publish a registry.

The purchase of a registry book will give you some insight as to how many are "known".

Thanks for posting!

I'm wondering if this is a vintage '69 photo or a pre season photo. The Shelby T/A car started out the season running those wide 5 spoke (daisy style?). They switched to Mini-lites (back and forth to the wide 5-spokes) throughout the season. I've never seen a photo at any race events with torque thrusts.
As it was finished at KK . That is "073" the prototype . Note the blue painted spoiler.  Ran '68 Torque Thrusts during testing only.

I am going to keep my screen name and keep  "hiding" behind it. This is after all    'Merica   where Larry the Cable guy's real name ain't Larry and EVERYBODY knows who he is.

My experience is the same as Jim's. The switch was made around vin 1,000 but there is some back and forth overlap. '66 production units were all aluminum or all iron. none were half and half . The only cars to have the half and half transmissions were the '67 T/A coupes. This was based on the amount of tailshaft housing failure in race conditions in previous years. NO other production SAI vehicle used that transmission.  The Transmission was also used for the '68 T/A season but there were no "customer cars" sold that year.  "I" was told the original P.O. was for 100 half and half transmissions. The rest not used in race cars were sold out of the catalog as Jim mentioned until all were gone. I was also told that "warranty" repairs were only authorized to use the cast iron tailshaft housing when a repair was needed. This came from the late Ray Wolfe . One of his titles was Service Manager at High Performance Motors when it was operating. When I used to buy parts from him in the late '60s and 70's he had about ten NOS half and half T-10s for sale.

I don't get what the big deal is. Movie stars change their names and so do SAAC stars , others don't care to. It is still a free country. I am on several other sites and VERY few members use their actual names, less than 10% I'm sure.  A screen name doesn't change the way I respond to someone.

    News Flash,

gt350hr   is none other than Randy Gillis who is hiding behind the license plate number of his '66GT350H. He's too old and stuck in his ways to change his screen name. Good thing is he usually signs his posts as  Randy. Now everybody knows who this guy is.

Thanks for all the hard work Ron!   Only the strong survive.   While it is a disaster it will increase awareness as to just how valuable this site has become.  We remain THE number one source for  62-70  Cobras and Mustangs.

   Different 2nd and 3rd gear ratios than a "production " K code T-10.
