FWIW, I highly recommend Rocketman's tach conversions. I've been running one for several years now. Works great, looks 100% stock, and if it should ever fail, it won't affect the ignition. https://www.rccinnovations.com/index.php?show=menu-mustang-all

And, BTW, Ford grabber Orange is "Competition Gold" in Mercury-speak.

Oddly enough, when Ford used the color on the 2004 Mach 1, they gave it the Mercury name - Competition Orange.
